Eligibility restriction
This drive is reserved 100% for candidates with disabilities. There are NO open or general (non-disabled) Patwari vacancies in the Revenue Department cadre in this 2026 cycle. The only other Patwari post in the notification is a single position under Post Code 241 for the Ujjain Development Authority. General-category candidates should apply for the other posts in this recruitment instead.
All 200 Patwari posts in the Revenue Department cadre this cycle fall under a special recruitment drive: EH (Hearing Impaired) 94 posts, LD (Locomotor Disability) 45 posts, and MD (Multiple Disabilities, including Autism and Intellectual Disability) 61 posts. Patwaris maintain land records, carry out revenue survey work and act as the Revenue Department's first point of contact in a village circle.
Eligibility
Graduate in any discipline, plus a valid disability certificate in one of the notified categories. Age and relaxation as per the MPESB notification.
Exam pattern
One common online CBT of 200 objective questions carrying 200 marks, set bilingually in Hindi and English. The paper is split into two halves of 100 marks: Part A covers general and Madhya Pradesh knowledge, science, Hindi and English; Part B covers mathematics, reasoning, computer knowledge and general management. Every section carries an equal 25 marks, so no section can be safely skipped. The examination is scheduled from 22 September 2026 across two shifts. Minimum qualification is a graduate degree in any subject together with a valid CPCT scorecard. Confirm exam duration, negative marking and dates against the official notification at esb.mp.gov.in before you apply.
